As I wrote in a previous post, traffic is a coveted resource.
Everyone in the online space wants a piece of it and little wonder – more quality traffic generally means more subscribers, more readers, more conversions, more authority, more influence, more money.
And for most of us, more money, if you manage it correctly, means more fun, more freedom and far less stress.
Who wouldn’t want that?
I certainly want it.
I wanted it when I was a new blogger just watching my Google Analytics throw me a zip, nada, zero every single day when I was starting out.
I want it now as I watch my traffic, which had soared in the run-up to Christmas, take the predictable nosedive that happens in the first quarter of the year.
Trust me, traffic can really make a difference in your blog’s ability to generate the income you require to live the life of bliss you’ve always deserved.
Because of that, I decided to write a post that focuses on the four blog courses that really did it for me, that really changed my blog’s trajectory and helped it grow from strength to strength.
Seriously, these are the best blog courses ever if your goal is to gain a ridiculously high number of website visitors in the shortest possible time.
And then watch your traffic – and with it, your income – soar.
Should I take a blog course?
But first, should I take a blog course?
I’m not going to get a blogging qualification, even if I could get one (which you can’t).
I’m going to quote David Risley here, “If you think you can do this without spending any money at all, you’re hallucinating. All businesses have startup costs. This one is no different.“

The truth is, nothing in life is free.
Everything has a price and you always pay that price if you want something bad enough.
If, like most new bloggers, you somehow have this idea that you can get to the big income for free, that because you’re just starting out, you shouldn’t spend so much money on your blog, I’m going to be very direct here and tell you that you need to stop that now.
You would never expect to succeed with a traditional brick-and-mortar business this way.
In fact, if you were starting with a brick-and-mortar business, you’d have a business plan in place that includes a list of expected expenses and a source of start-up capital to cover said expenses.
That’s expected by everyone.
In fact, even you know that.
An online business, just like a brick-and-mortar business, is a business.
In other words, you need a business plan for it that includes a list of expected expenses and a source of start-up capital to cover said expenses.
There are no two ways about it.
You’ll pay a price either way anyway, the question is: “How?”
If that $97 course saves you 3 years of backbreaking work with no income, isn’t it worth it?
If that $97 course, that you follow to the letter, develops your skills to the point that your website starts consistently earning $100 a month, isn’t it worth it?
Wouldn’t you pay that price?
I would. And, in fact, I have.
So, my answer to you is that yes, you should absolutely take a blog course for traffic.
Just be mindful of the quality of the courses you take.
Not every blogging course is created equal and you obviously want to go with one that will drive the most results.
Also remember that the price doesn’t determine anything.
Side Note: Just because something is super expensive doesn’t mean it will give you the results you need. This list, for example, contains super affordable blogging courses that will definitely help you get the traffic you need.

What most people forget is that Pinterest, unlike Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, is not a social media site.
Yes, you upload pins in much the same way you upload pictures in Instagram.
Yes, you save and share pins in the same way you do posts on Facebook.
Yes, you add a description of what your pin is linking to and can have conversations just as you do on Twitter.
But unlike any of those three, Pinterest has a strong and smart algorithm that shows you what you’re searching for and what you might like based on previous activity (search, save, pin, comments etc).
Pinterest relies on keywords, in much the same way Google relies on the keywords you type in the search bar before you hit enter.
As a Pinterest expert once wrote, Pinterest is a search engine with a visual component.
Pinterest functions in much the same way as Google’s image search.
And this is where I sucked big time.
Because Pinterest is a search engine, you really want your pins to appear at the very top of a search result, which means what?
Now, I was using an advanced keyword tool (sort of) but I wasn’t really doing it well and certainly not well enough for Pinterest because its algorithm is obviously completely different from the Google algorithm.
Basically, it means that even though I have well-designed pins, no one was engaging with them (translation: no saves, comments or clicks) for the simple reason that no one can see them.
They’re not appearing when people are searching for something.
It didn’t matter how many new pins I create, if they don’t appear when people are looking for something, they’re pretty useless.

And let’s face it, more eyes on your site usually equals greater income.
I’m firmly in the camp that everything has a price and you pay either with money or time.
Personally, I’d pay with money rather than time because money, at the very least, can be earned.
Whereas you’ll never recover the time you’ve lost.
So, I’d rather spend $47 now on a legitimate and effective blog course to increase my page views quickly rather than keep my wallet closed, do it on my own and spend 3 years getting there.

I highly recommend getting both.
